CQ Quilt Show
An impromtu post of a quilt and a WIP border prep.
This little gem is made by Rebecca. She has another project finished for Project Linus. I hope she will have time to write about her finished project and enlighten us as to braided vs. herringbone works. (g)
Please share your comments on Rebecca's finish on the main Cyberquilters list, so everyone will see it.
And this is what I've been doing this afternoon .................. fusing leaf/branch appliques onto the border of my braided star top. I also spent some time in EQ trying to add some more appliques using gold with the seagreen shades, to help fill in some open areas, but the gems would not have branched out in the right direction, so I had to scrap that idea. I am at the point with this one that I must plan it as I work along.
That's it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by.
