Tossed Leaves Wall Hanging

 I adored this panel the minute I saw it.  I got it at my LQS along with some extra prints from the fabric line.  It is called Tossed Leaves.

With EQ's help, I added some borders to bring it up to the desired size of  46 x 55 .  I fmq around and in all of the elements and pieced and plain borders.  I kept the quilting light and did not put a filler in the cream background.  I used several shades of Glide threads.  Its now hanging and I'm working on a complimentary table runner.

More Bear Hug Quilts

 I've just finished up the final batch of  lil bear hug tops donated from several quilter friends of Heartstrings Group.  I paired them with batt, backing & binding and got to quilt them up and donate to wonderful charities in my area.  I've used walking foot and free motion quilting with Omni and Glide threads.
