365 Day Ruler Quilt Along - Panel 5

I have officially finished Panel 5 of this quilt along designed and taught by Natalia Bonner of  https://www.piecenquilt.com.   It measures  57 x 64.  I used an autumn tone of gold print for the border and a print of acorns on the back.  The binding was stitched down by machine also.

Panel projects #  3 and 4  are 'nearly' finished,  they both need final borders quilted and binding.  Each square, triangle or circle in all these quilts have a different design in each one.  I hope to share these finishes in the coming weeks.

I'm linking up with ..............  be sure to visit these sites to see what other quilters are sharing this week.

  1. What is the 365 Day Ruler Challenge all about? I'm interested! I've invested in a small fortune's worth of quilting rulers that I need to put in time and practice learning to use properly. There is a new linky party just for ruler work quilting at The Quilt Yarn's blog here: https://thequiltyarn.blogspot.com/p/lets-do-some-rulerwork-linky-party.html. It's every other week on Tuesdays but I think last week's party might still be open if you wanted to link this post up. The next one will be on Tuesday March 31st. I hope you'll join us! And now I'm off to Natalia's site to see what this 365 thing is all about. Your finished panel looks lovely; wish I could see close ups of all of your quilting designs!

  4. I have been watching her videos. I have gotten a lot out of them. I didn't want to buy any more fabric so I am just watching. I wish I had had the foresight to make my own like you did. Very nice!

  6. The quilting looks great. I enlarged the picture on my screen so I could look at each of the motifs. I like the way you were able to try something diferent in each of the patches. The border quilting really ties it together without competing with any of the other quilting. It looks so inviting that I wanted to reach through the screen to tough the shapes (wearing white gloves of course).
