I've been busy sewing, cutting, sewing, and lots more cutting. I had 3 new RSC projects for 2020, they have joined the unfinished groups of RSC projects from 2019,, 2018 and maybe ??????
While cutting, I did cut for one of my 2020 projects, I call this block a double pinwheel. It might more properly be termed as a friendship pinwheel. At any rate, I was doing 3 blocks in each color, for a 30 block quilt. I will have to doodle in EQ to see if I want a narrow sashing between the blocks or not. Either way, they make a nice alternate pattern too.

I like the alternate pattern they make together...such colorful and pretty blocks in this one...nice work hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeletePretty blocks, Kat! Those would make a great pattern without any sashing!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blocks that make an alternating pattern. Very striking.
ReplyDeleteKat, these blocks are wonderful. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your PINK blocks for the RSC!!
ReplyDeleteI love these blocks!!
ReplyDeleteLOL -- RSC does not translate to finished quilts, does it? (Sez she who has two boxes of rainbow-colored units from 2019 and 2020.) Your Friendly Pinwheels shine and they'll look even better when they're in a flimsy (which is one step closer to that elusive finished quilt). And here's to January pink!
ReplyDeleteVery striking blocks - I love it as it is!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cool!!! and they are so spinny - this will be a great quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love your "friendship pinwheels!" Enjoy the process -- finishing is so overrated. ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love a secondary pattern so would choose for no sashing. Great job!
ReplyDeletePretty blocks, enjoy making some more ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with Patchwork & Quilts!
Such awesome blocks! Love the design.

Love how these blocks look together! It'll be interesting how they look with a skinny sashing, and which design you choose. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
