Quilts 4 Kids 19-5

Keeping up with my personal goal (so far)  of 2 quilts 4 kids per month.  This one does not call to me so much, must be the harst colors.  I hope someone will like it.  It measures 43 x 54.  Dear husband aka incredible hulk is peeking out the top and dog # 1 Rosie managed to get in the photo too.  I quilted stars in all the red squares  then thought, how will I travel through all the other squares without too many thread breaks.  I winged up the rest of it.

Here is the back, a red fleece.  This year I bought a bunch of fleece laps  50 x 60.  Most are truly fun kid friendly designs.  I chose fabrics for the tops to coordinate with the backings.

Today I'm linking up with  Judy of Small Quilts and Doll Quilts.   for design wall Monday.

On Wednesday, I'll be joining  Susan at Quilt Fabrication, Jennifer of the Inquiring Quilter  and  Esther at Esthers Quilt Blog for W.I.P.

Be sure to visit these sites to see what other quilters are sharing today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

RSC 19 - Greens

Finally worked with the green scraps for my RSC projects.  Well, the 3 new projects anyway.  Haven't re-visited the older rsc projects yet.  I have these projects planned out in EQ, so know how many of each unit are needed.  I am just pulling myself away from so much piecing. I want to be quilting all the time.

I'm linking up with Angela of Soscrappy today  and with Cynthia for Oh Scrap on Sunday.  Be sure to visit these sites to see what other quilters are sharing.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Asian Lanterns

I have a finished quilt to share today.  It was made from the free Beaded Lanterns pattern shared  HERE.

Started August 25, 2018 thanks to a Stashbuster challenge.  I actually cut 2 kits of this pattern.  The other kit is waiting for attention.  Maybe next year ...............

My quilt holders for photos found it easier to hold it up sideways instead of straight up.

The backing .......  a flowery piece of extra-wide fabric

I used Irfanview to rotate my photo which shows it right side up  but at a bit of an odd angle.  It still looks better this way .  Quilted all-over clamshells,  finished at 62 1/2 x 80 1/2 .

I'm joining these linky parties this week ..........................

Be sure to visit these sites and have a great week !  Thanks for stopping by.
