365 Day Quilt Along - Panel 2

A block design every day for an entire year!  I'm still hangin in there and truly enjoying it.  I see an improvement in my quilting too.  My only dilemma is keeping each design fresh in my mind since there are so many.  A big big thank you to Natalia Bonner of  Piece and Quilt.com  for all her hard work presenting and inspiring us with this long term project.


and so Panel # 2  is now finished.   I am hoping young teens will like this quilt design.  The colors are bright and happy.  This one measures 52 x 59.  It has one layer of cotton batting which made it easy to push around while quilting.  I quilt on a Janome 9400  and  an Artistic Quilter 16 sit down.

and since my quilting brain always heads straight for the backing so I can see all the quilting definition,   here is a pic of the back.

RSC 19 - Purples

I have my purples ready.  Just one more month and I can put these quilts together.   And  plan next year's projects.

Quilt Tops - Q4K 19-15 & 19-16

I made good progress last week.  Along with machine quilting on the 365 Day QAL with Natalia Bonner  and  machine quilting on the aqua version of dream big with Amy Johnson ( these ladies are really inspiring me),  I slipped in some needed piecing...…  the August kits for quilt 4 kids.  I wish I had more of those fabrics to make them  bigger ---- maybe next time.  It was really fun and quick to put together.

Quilt 4 Kids 19-14

I'm 2 months behind in my goal of 2 quilts for kids per month.  I cut 20 kits to make up this year,  so 6 more to go by the end of year.  Probably can get that done.

This is one from the July batch.  It finished at 41 x 54.  I did not have a definite quilting plan.  I used rulers on this one and just played on it.
