2026 SAHRR - An Extra Round 7

The grand display for the 2026 Stay At Home Round Robin begins next Wednesday, March 25th.  The show will be held at Quilting Gail | A scrappy quilter and not a perfect quilter.

My 2026 SAHRR project went above and beyond or better said as 'overboard' when I added a round 7 to the plan for 2 reaons:  1) there was lots of the fabric collection remaining and 2) my round 6 made the top look unfinished.

So far this year, I've spent much of my wednesday mornings playing with options in EQ for this project.  I am not 100% satisfied with my version of round 7,  BUT  I've reached the point of needing to be finished with the brainwork over it.

So my flimsy now measures 69 x 77.  I ran out of background and used a different white on the outermost 2 inch border. This is another bright, happy quilt, like last year's version turned out to be also.

Naturally, I'm linking up with Gail next Wednesday for the SAHRR parade and also joining these lovely linky parties this week.  Please be sure to visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.

  13. I love your observation: "I've reached the point of needing to be finished with the brainwork over it." Boy, do I understand this! Sometimes we just know when we're done with something, but happily, in the case of the quilt, I'd call it a success. Congratulations on a fine finish for SAHRR 2026 -- I love all those borders!!
