The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color at Soscrappy for July was Aqua. I just managed to finish my block this week.
We are linking up our Quilters Cove blocks on the last Saturday of each month with Andree at
Please be sure to visit Andree to link up your Quilters Cove house blocks and to see what others are sharing too. You can also find the links to all previous posts and linky parties for the Quilters Cove quilt along on the Quilters Cove QAL page Scrapbox Quilts: A Quilters Cove QAL
I also want to share my paper piecing blocks made in July. I don't have a final plan for them yet, but continue to make a variety. Paper piecing is such a perfect use for those wee little scraps, which I can't bear to toss out.
I'm joining all these lovely linky parties this week. Please be sure to visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.
Wishing you a happy and creative week. Thanks so much for stopping by.

So cute! I especially love the shape of the tree.
ReplyDeleteYour aqua neighborhood stitched up great with your aqua scraps!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your houses, Kat - they are always so fun! The roof fabric on the first house is awesome! The paper-pieced houses are looking great, too. I have to say, I really like the trees - much better than mine, lol! I should try using string blocks to make mine - I'll have to try that this month!
ReplyDeleteI’m not good at paper piecing! I love the precision of it, but my brain gets confused. Maybe I need more practice!
ReplyDeleteGreat AQUA houses and I love this week's tree, too, Kat!
ReplyDeleteAnother month of sewing the cutest-ever houses and trees! You are really creative, Kat!
ReplyDeleteHi Kat, well done! Your aqua house is very cute. Thanks for linking up. Do you know the August colour?
ReplyDeleteNifty houses. Lots of variety just as there are lots of variety in our own homes. Great job.
ReplyDeleteYour houses are so intricate, each with its own personality. Do you make up stories about who lives in each house as you're making it?
ReplyDeleteFun Houses!!! They are so neat!
ReplyDeleteLove those paper pieced houses! Such fun. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.
