Dahalia Panel QAL

Angela Walters sold this panel for a free quilt along last year.  It was to demonstrate free motion quilting for several border options.  You can find her videos on YouTube or at her site

After quilting all the areas,  I added the binding then sat it in a corner to wait for stitching down.  Eventually I lost interest in hand stitching that binding down, until my name came up in the top 10 of the UFO Challenge at Stashbusters.

 And so it is finished at 57" by 61".  The fabric is very luxurious, even with all the dense quilting.  It was quilted with Glide threads on my Artistic Quilter 16 sit-down.

CLOSE-UPS

strangely, after several months, I wonder how I did it and could I do it as well again??  I do not know why 2 photos will only save in grayscale, as they show up in color in the original.  I tried to correct it, but lost the battle.
