A few years ago, the Stashbusters yahoo group put out a challenge to make quilts from your jelly rolls.  I didnt have any jelly rolls at the time, but I did cut my own from my stash.  I was aiming for autumn colors.

So this was a flimsy for a long time,  maybe someone at Stashbusters will remind me what year I succomed to that challenge. ?  Our Myra also made one and I admired her using a light blue background where I used white.  Oh well,  it is finished NOW.

I quilted it on my domestic with allover baptist fans in honor of Marianne.  She always said the baptist fan worked well on any quilt!  It finished at 63 x 77.  It's already been washed and ready for gifting.  I call it Jungle Jim, just because I couldnt get that out of my head.

RSC 2020 - Dark Blues

I shared my blue and green scrap snap blocks last week.  This week I worked on my other 3 RSC projects - 5 blocks, for me , lots of scrappy labor.  I cut most of these parts with the Gocutter.  The blocks turned out so well and without any trimming.  I've learned I'm not a very good rotary cutter and I will use the go whenever I can.

CCQ 20-2 - Boy Blues

This was an easy finish.  It was cut back in late 2018, pieced and sandwiched in 2019 as one of my monthly quick quilt for kids plan.  Then it waited in line to be quilted.  It is backed with fleece , finished at 41 x 41.  I took a side step from FMQ and quilted in a circle with the walking foot.  It sure went quickly.

and here is a snap of the fleece print on the back ....

Churn Dashes

These churn dashes were made from my scrap bins for a special block drive to make quilts for the family of our dear internet quilter friend, Marianne Urban, who lost her battle last week.  She put up a good fight, that's for sure.  She was a friend of many words filled with great guidance and honest caring. I had to take the photo inside with the light on, so the coloring is off.  They really are prettier prints than it appears.
