Scrappy Challenge - February, Block 2

This block is referred to as Key Lime Pie.  It is another 9 inch block.  I'm staying with the theme of scraps everywhere, with a touch of black added in for boldness.

I'm linking up with Judy L. at Patchwork Times where you can see what others have made up with their February blocks.   I've also started a new page where you will find all my blocks and/or projects  in this block of the month series for 2014.

Thanks to Judy L.  for continuing to inspire us daily and thanks to you for visiting.

Scrappy Challenge - Block 1

This is my January block for the Scrappy Challenge at Patchwork Times.  My version is not very inventive.  It was suggested to make the block/s into a finished project.  That just didn't work with my 'projects of the moment'. I used a different fabric for every piece in the block. My goal is to make a sampler quilt with the scrappy blocks using a bit of black in each one to tie it together.  Of course, if another month's offering speaks to me loudly, I could make an additional project.

I am happiest when working out of my scrap bins.  Aren't we lucky that scraps multiply during the night?  I'm linking up with the instigator of this Scrappy Challenge, Judy at Patchwork Times.  Hop on over there to see what everyone else has created with their January block.
