Tree of Life Miniature - flimsy

I can't believe I've reached the end of this monthly project.   Since my project is a miniature with 3 inch blocks (the original at  For The Love Of Geese   is full size blocks ), there is alot of small seams.  I do not have any quilting ideas for it at this time.  I hate when that happens.!  I've reached out to Denise for quilting suggestions.  I'm sure she will have some creative ideas to share.

So  here is my Tree of Life flimsy.  A  quick measurement is 35 inches.  I had some issues with identifying fabric colors in the chart provided...  blaming some of that on their technical names and some on looking through a computer monitor.  All in all,  I am very happy with the results.  When finished, I think it will take its turn hanging over my mantle.

Thank you, Denise,  for leading us on with this project.  I'm sure there are still other quilters working on their blocks.  I'm gladly joining these linky parties this week.  Be sure to visit them to see what other creative  quilters are sharing.

  7. Oh beautiful finish and I especially love how you have framed it. Not sure if you received my reply, quilting is always a struggle for me too. Being a mini I think I would put a tight/small meander. When I get around to quilting mine I will be doing spirals in the tree top but not sure about the tree trunk. Whatever you decide it will be wonderful, it already is. Thank you so much for sewing along me. You will be receiving an email from me very soon regarding prizes. :)
