So January is finished and it's time to share our first house. I made mine in blues to correspond with Angela's Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I added charming little elements to my first house. I top stitched them all down raw edge style. The background piece has a layer of thin interfacing This type of designing is a bit beyond my artistic talent. I am enjoying the challenge for a change of methods. My project will showcase different house designs in different size blocks. Why keep it simple ?

ReplyDeleteSo many adorable details in your house block. The more I looked (enlarged it a bunch), the more I saw. I love the blues, but my favorite bits are the variegated birds in the sky.
