My Fav Snowman

I'm quite excited to share this finished project because it is not my typical style of quilting.  It is whimsical and makes me smile and brightens up my porch too!

I made the appliques at church sew day last December.  Since I ordered a wooden display for winter to dress up the front porch,  I was encouraged to add this little hanging to complete the scene.

It measures 22 x 30.  I used fusible appliques and quilted the shapes down thru the 4 layers at the same time as quilting the background.  I used assorted Glide threads in colors to compliment the areas.

I'm joining these linky parties this week.  Please visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.

  1. He's such a cutie. I believe I once owned the pattern for all of those wall hangings. I loaned it out and never got it back. Boo Hoo as I would love to make Mr. Snowman. Are you going to make some others?
