I have finished Round 2 of our Stay at Home Round Robin with stars. You will find all the links for this annual challenge HERE . You will find all the intro information HERE .
I spent too much time messing about in EQ to decide what to do with this round. Oh so many options. I went with the 9 inch "Twin Star" block. I do wish I had gone with a 6 inch round, but not doing it again now.
It measures 36 inches square now.
I'm linking up this week with ...................

Wow Kat - this looks great. Love how the stars are incorporated in what looks like two separate borders. Also love your bow tie block at the top of the center. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so good, and such a clever way to incorporate the star blocks!
ReplyDeleteLoving round two stars--I think Kitty is smiling knowing it is The Star of this quilt;)))
ReplyDeletenice work hugs, Julierose
Checking this on the day that Round 3 went LIVE... You could (almost) say you combined the two prompts with the star you chose, Kat. They're awesome, by the way! Looking forward to seeing what you will do next.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great border -- clever to use two colors and the stars. I didn't notice your spool round until I read Bernie's comment. Yep, very cute and clever way to incorporate a spool into the piece.
ReplyDeleteYour SAHRR is looking fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYour stars are magnificent, and I LOVE the kitty block.
ReplyDeleteVery clever to put the star in two borders! Love the look. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell linkup, Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteHi Kat, those blues in the quilt really put it together. So far so great!
