This string quilt top was one of a box of tops I received, donated thru Heartstrings Group for volunteers to turn into quilts and donate to their local charities. Most of Valeries tops are baby quilt size. I donate those to The Hope Center which has 3 locations in my area providing medical services for new mothers- to- be.
My camera did not do justice to the lovely purple print which dominated this string quilt. I used a pretty fleece print on the back and quilted in a circular grid with Glide lavender.
I'm joining these lovely linky parties this week. Please be sure to visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.
Wishing you a happy and creative week. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Both sides of that quilt are sure to please the recipient, Kat!
ReplyDeleteGreat job finishing Valerie's top. Good for you to finish quilts saving them from being thrown away. This one is going to be very cuddly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! What a lovely finish.
ReplyDeleteA two sided quilt. . .wonderful! I do love a string quilt and this is a great one!
ReplyDeleteGetting purple and the camera to play together is just plain hard, I am working on a purple runner photo that is not being nice to me!
