I am posting this because it is March's RSC project, 5 scrappy quarter log cabin blocks evidently with my ugly-est greens. I may be making them again, in a prettier version; but not today.
I'm linking up with Angela of Soscrappy for her Saturday party and on Sunday with Cynthia for Oh Scrap.
Be sure to visit these sites to see what other creative quilts are sharing.
I hope you get some creative time today. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Even ugly scraps are pretty as part of a quilt. Best of all, they are used up now and you can play with the pretty ones.
ReplyDeleteI think your "ugly" GREEN blocks are fabulous, Kat!!
ReplyDeleteI think your green blocks look great and wouldn't change a thing!
ReplyDeleteEven ugly bits look good in scrappy blocks! I think those are great!
ReplyDeleteI think they look lovely - anything with black and white looks modern
ReplyDeleteI have all of those colors in my stash. They make beautiful blocks!
ReplyDeleteI think these look great! Those brights scattered around make them happy.
ReplyDeleteI am convinced there is no such thing as ugly fabric, just fabric that we are less interested in. When making it scrappy, everything looks good together!
ReplyDeleteI like your blocks! Some fabrics may be ugly ducklings, but they turn into swans when added to a quilt.
ReplyDeleteAll looks great to me.
ReplyDeleteWhen I made these blocks, I used my unloved fabrics too. Now it is one of my favorite finishes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
None of your fabrics look unloved to me! Those are great blocks!
ReplyDeleteThey’re not ugly scraps! And the blocks are beyond cute!
ReplyDeleteLove these blocks and I don't find anything wrong with them at all. Keep 'em!
