I made this quilt top last year from a bag of flannels donated to me by a quilter friend who doesn't like to work with flannel. Lucky for me, I find no difference working with flannel. There were all sorts of flannel prints in the bags, so I tried to group them into batches that might work together.
This is a version made from the pink family. The areas that appear red in the photo is really a dark fuscia pink. Pic was taken indoors and I am still not very skilled with photography. I don't know if I used a pattern, a photo from the web or just worked with what I had. It finished up at 30 x 35.

That is a sweet quilt, Kat! You did a great job working with those pink flannels. I especially love the lips print on the back!
ReplyDeleteNice soft and cute quilt made from rescued flannel! Rounded corners is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteYour flannel quilt looks soft and cozy! I love the quilting and the fact that the turning line is off-center. Well done! Thank you for sharing and linking up, Kat.
ReplyDeleteI like sewing with Flannel too. Great scrappy quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of scrap fabrics. I don't mind working with flannels but I generally work with regular cottons because that's what I have most of. And, how I admire the curved corners. I plan on using that idea soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
