Strippie Bargello Q4K

I had pieced up these strippie=style quilts a few months ago when SoScrappy's RSC color of the month was orange.  I pin basted them at group sew day last month and decided to dive in with a quick quilting plan.

They each finished at 46 x 56 and are already packaged for donation to our local community service departments for giving out at this discretion.  I used a lovely Glide lavender thread for free motion quilting.  They are each backed with a fun fleece print.

I'm joining these lovely linky parties this week.  Please be sure to visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.

  6. Yeah for two more finishes! Did you also use batting with these or just the fleece to serve both as batting and backing? Just curious as I have done both.

    1. Yes, I always use batting. I have already worked thru my assortment of other blends and now buy only the large bolts/roll of 80/20.

  8. Your strippie bargellos are great. I might consider making another one with that technique! I have made one, aptly entitled Twisted Sister - my first and last! LOL Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.
