Yep, the purples needed to be finished last month ..... alas, here are the star blocks. I also have the 24 individual squares cut and set aside for the finishing steps. Sometimes I take a different route for the 6" center sampler block, which is what I did with one block here.
My green star blocks are also in progress. I hope to have them ready to share next week. All my sampler blocks are being collected on their own page HERE .
In the meantime, I'm linking up with Angela at SoScrappy where you'll see what else is being made from quilters' scrap bins.
Thanks to Angela for employing the easy angle and companion angle rulers in the instructions. I really enjoy using them. If not for this project, I know they would have stayed on the shelf .
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a safe and happy holiday weekend.
Very pretty purples!
ReplyDeleteI'm still finishing up purple too. And I also learned about the easy angle ruler from Angela and it has really improved my relationship with half-square triangles!
ReplyDeleteOh we must be on the same wave length--I am finishing up my purple Postage Stamp block today--better late than....well, you know!! LOL Hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteJust keep stitching . . . lovely blocks!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your purples done. Plenty of time for green.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! Those are my favourite rulers!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you got your purples done. I'm doing the same with some of my centres and loving how they are turning out. Angela is doing an amazing job on giving us the liberty to make what we want for the centre. I love that!
ReplyDeleteWay to go!
ReplyDeleteGood work on getting purple done. One week left in May so time to get going on green.
