Charmed Pink D9P

This charm pack and pink accent fabric was part of a gift package I won at the quilt show in April.  I thought it would make up nicely into a D9P pattern.  As it turns out,  the pink was so harsh, I tried to tone it down a bit with  white sashing.   It turned out 44" x 44".

Over 60's Green - OMG

I have finished the hand embroidery on the green Over 60's block.  Green is the RSC17 color this month.  I chose this project for my One Monthly Goal (OMG) for May, as originally posted here....



I have 5 of these lovely blocks done now;  blue, purple, rose, aqua  and  here is the green ................

RSC17 - Greens

I've caught up on the RSC projects with greens -- 2 crayons  and  16- "20 triangles" blocks.  Last week was the Over 60's green block which I'm now working on the embroidery in the center,

Over 60's - Green -OMG

The Over 60's embroidered blocks is one of my monthly projects for the RSC17 at Soscrappy.  This month's color is green.  This weekend I pushed myself to get the block cut and assembled and ready for hand embroidery.  There is alot of pieces in this block.  That's how it came by the name "Over 60's" as there is that many half square triangles in this block.



I am joining up with Pat of Elm Street Quilts for the OMG-One Monthly Goal challenge for May.  My goal is to get the embroidery design stitched in the center.  Linking up here:
