365 Day Ruler Quilt Along - Quilt 7

This is the last quilt for this quilt along.... well except for the one waiting for the final border to be quilted.  This one is geared toward a young teen, pinks and purples,  a soft red fabric on the back.  It was quilted with pink aurifil thread on top and bottom line in the bobbin  and  finished at 60 x 68.

Echoes and Curves QAL

My quilt is done.  I seem to do better when told what to quilt and where.  This was a quilt along with Angela Walters of Quilting is My Therapy.  The videos stay free on you.tube.

It is quilted with Glide threads on top and Bottom Line thead in the bobbin.  Cotton batting and measures 52 x 61.

Scrap Snap 2020 - pinks

I shamefully jumped into this scrappy project with credit/blame given to Julie at https://quiltsandcostumes.blogspot.com/2020/05/scrappy-rainbow-saturday-week-21-2020.html for instigating several more of us quilters into yet another project.

The project originates here  with Kari of https://quiltsforthemaking.blogspot.com/.  She provides simple instructions and wonderful examples of colorful quilt layouts !  It really is a simple process,  I got lost along the way and just put them all together into 6-1/2" blocks at random.

These were done so quickly, I've already started cutting for colors that we've already done for RSC this year.  Not sewing them together until I decide on one of the lovely layouts.

I'm linking up with Angela of Soscrappy today and tomorrow with Cynthia of Oh Scrap.  Be sure to visit these sites to see what other creative quilters are sharing.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

RSC 2020 - Pinks

I've had a very colorful and  productive week.  In addition to putting the finishing machine quilting on 2 quilts,  I made the pink blocks for my RSC 2020 projects.  Here they are together ........... 9 inch and 12 inch blocks.  I also cut the parts for 10 scrap snap blocks ready to assemble this week.

I thought it would be a good time to get a photo of this years progress.  It's nice to see them assembled together.  The double pinwheel blocks are looking kinda busy, thinking I might put a narrow sashing and cornerstone between them.  I'll work it out in EQ first, to see if I like it.

chained pinwheels .......... I   SO love  the secondary design this creates !!
