RSC16 for June

I spent the last few days catching up with my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects.  I'll just showcase all of them together.  The color was aqua this month,  I have so little of aqua, so I concentrated on light blue with a bit of aqua.

I'll begin with my favorite project ..............  my 'modified' indian hatchet block.  The rows are 14 - 6" blocks long. The design board isn't large enough to show it all, but you get the idea .......

Next up is the scrappy bear paw blocks,..........

with a close-up of June's block..................

and the crayon project .......................

lastly here is my RSC16 Sampler in progress .............................

the EQ mock-up, this may help me visualize row placements.............

4 more colors will complete my sets.  Then it will be time to plan borders and finishes.  Two of these quilts are planned for queen size,  the crayon quilt will be a large child size.  I haven't yet decided about the bear paw, but planning a very special layout.

It's amazing how many quilts keep coming out of those scrap bins!!  I'm linking up with Angela at Soscrappy.

and on Sunday, linking with Cynthia for Oh Scrap.

Hop on over there to see what everyone else is making from their scrap bins.

A special  "THank You"  to our Fathers this weekend.    Thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. I think your light blues work really well for this month's blocks. They're a nice contrast to the dark blues from January. I always love seeing your bear paws! Such a great block!

  6. Your great progress impresses me, or depresses depending how I view my low production. But I want to say that seeing your lovely blue Twinklers was what decided me to do them, so thanks for the inspiration.
