Scrap Scramble (modified) - Finished

I've been struggling with an old camera that takes blurry photos and have put off showing some finished quilts .

This is my version of the Scrap Scramble project, a free BOM  offered by Carol Doak on her yahoo group a year or so ago.  I found the original layout too busy for me so I opted to use some of those blocks and added some older blocks,  tho they are all Carol Doak blocks in this quilt.

My finished version is also too busy,  I wish I put more space between the blocks,  but as it is, I'm very happy  it's done!   It measures about 70 x 80.  I hope it finds a happy home.

the most recent photo from the old camera ................

and this photo was taken with the newer camera which has since broken ..........

Tuesday I'm sharing with Connie at Freemotion By The River  and  the gals at Quilt Story.

and Wednesday I hope to share with  Susan at Quilt Fabrication  and  Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts.

Visit these blogs to see what other creative quilters are sharing today.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  4. Pretty! At first I didn't recognize it as Carol's block patterns, but now I get it. I have a round robin quilt made from that yahoo group years ago that still needs quilting. Happy to see you have one finished! Thanks so much for sharing on Midweek Makers
