Scallops Borders

Gosh I feel like I'm on a roll -  3 nice finishes lately,  but yet they were in progress for a long time.

This is my Scallops Borders quilt from Natalia Bonner's class of the same name.  It was a great class.  The videos stay on youtube for when i need a refresher.

It is 56 x 64, quilted with silver/gray glide thread on my sit-down.  It came out kinda stiff, as in quilted to death fashion.  I hope a laundering will help with that issue.  The fabric cream/silver/gold blends didnt photo well,  but it is pretty, up close.  Someone will love it.

  6. Wow! The quilting is gorgeous. I particularly like the motif you used bordering the outer rectangle of the middle panel. They remind me of the arches inside a cathedral.
