3YD Lima2

This little quilt was inspired by Material Girlfriends prompt as shared   HERE.  This was the post for April 15.  Actually I got over zealous and sewed a twin size yellow scrappy version which still needs pin basting and quilted.

After fussing with the scrappy version, I wanted to see how quick the project would be using only 3 fabrics.  Yep, lots quicker of course.  This one finished at 46 x 55.  I quilted with a pink shade of Glide thread doing a freehand orange peel allover.  The backing is a pretty flower print fleece.  The kiddos love to cuddle under the fleece.

I'm joining these lovely linky parties this week.  Be sure to visit them to see what other creative quilters are sharing.
