Peaches Q4K

I made this top last year during Soscrappy RSC month of orange.  I made a few kid sized tops using oranges that month.  They were nicely hung on a hanger waiting to be quilted.  Before you know it, another year has gone by.  I sandwiched the top in May when orange was called again but didnt get it quilted until this past week.

This is a Villa Rosa Designs pattern called Snow Ruby. I quilted straight lines in a zig zag style across the top using an Omni buttery yellow thread.  I made it to finish at 44 x 52.

I had a fleece backing print in peach and grays that was perfect for this top.  This quilt will be donated for a quilt 4 kids program.

  7. Cute quilt and nice peachy shades. It's funny how a top will sit for a long time, as if aging it like fine wine! This one is a winner even if it has been carefully aged! (like fine wine, right?)

  14. Love the RSC inspiration and how that also helped it get finished! I had used a similar zigzag quilt stitch pattern on Fabric Cafe'a "Checkmate" 3YQ and like how it was used here too. That backing fabric IS just perfect. Some lucky kid will thrill to get this!
