It's hard to stay out of those scrap bins once you get into them. As this is the last Saturday for blues, I had to put them to more work. Unfortunately, this challenge has created new projects, but what fun it is to create a project around them.
So, this past week I worked up another project in EQ7. I made 10 log cabin blocks. My project is a creation from another photo found during google searches. Google gets me into so much trouble. This is just a portion of the project. Can you guess what it will be ? Clue: A fitting symbol for Memorial Day.
Thank you, Angela, for continuing this Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2013. It is so inspiring. I am linking up HERE where you can find all the other wonderful entries.
I wish you all a safe and HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY !
I agree with you. Love my scrap boxes now. RSC influence. Love your blue blocks :D
ReplyDeleteHi Kat! I love the blues segue-waying into the white like that--really pretty...hugs, julierose
ReplyDeletePretty blue cabins!
ReplyDeleteI am going out on a limb here and say it is going to be a flag? I love it so far, and can't wait to see the finished project!
ReplyDeleteLovely blue blocks.
ReplyDeleteYep, Kevin. You got it right. It is the flag with waves. lol
ReplyDeleteLovely blue log cabin blocks. What a fun way to use your scraps.
ReplyDeleteKevin beat me to it! I saw a quilt posted recently that was a log cabin flag. Fun! Oh yes, Google is definitely a trouble-maker!
ReplyDeleteThose are looking yummy! Such deep rich blues, and they really shine against the white!
ReplyDeleteThese log cabins are such a rich blue, lovely and I believe they are tiny as well?
