ScrapHappy Saturday - Pinks 2

I got back to my pink scrap bin, just under the wire for this last saturday of February. I have a new working plan for my rainbow scrap challenge this year *RSC14*;  a horizontal row quilt of assorted blocks, kaleidoscope blocks in 12" and 6" sizes; 6" wonky log cabin blocks and 3" scrappy rails blocks. I'm also collecting 1-1/2" squares for a mosaic cross quilt.

So yesterday I had a marathon working from the pink scrap bin. First, I made these 8 bowtie blocks for the horizontal row quilt.

Then I made these 6 wonky log cabin blocks

I finished off with this batch of skinny rail fence blocks,
I will need to make many more of these

Here is January and February rows together.  I'm already excited about this one.

I am linking up with Angela at Soscrappy where you can see what everyone else is making with their pink scraps this month.

  1. You are organised to have thought already about how you want it to look in the end. I haven't got further than calculating this week that I need about 220 blocks altogether!

    1. Isn't it wonderful to see a plan coming together. The wonky log cabins look like so much fun to put together.
