GFG Baby Blue Nap Quilts

Yep, still workin on that piece of grandmothers flower garden fabric.  I sure got some mileage out of it.  I've been building borders around the last four pieces and they are becoming nap size quilts. I need to have one totally finished for a donation at a club dinner meeting tomorrow.

Okay, this is an unusual way to photo 2 small quilts.  I thought about stitching black collars on the puppies, but the fleece backing is light and I didn't want it to show through. I thought about drawing the collars on with fabric pen,  still on the fence with that idea.

Here is a close-up of one.  I hope to get it quilted tomorrow.  The bindings are all ready too.

Stay tuned............ next week will showcase the pink versions, maybe they'll be quilted too. LOL  I'm linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times where you can see what other creative quilters are working on.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Very cute quilts! I think the collars would look cute, too. How much of that fabric did you buy? You have certainly gotten good use out of it.
