Scraphappy Saturday - Yellows 2

Week 2 for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge - I decided to multi-task with one project  I made a yellow block which is actually a quarter block for a scrappy block I made for the Scrap Scramble project on another group.

So here is the quarter block with yellows and golds.

Here is the complete block for the Scrap Scramble project.  This is a 12-1/2 inch block and is made with 116 pieces.  It took all afternoon. LOL  The best part is that all the pieces except the white background is from the scrap bins.  They never diminish.

I am linking up with Angela at Soscrappy where you will find lots of inspiration with yellow fabrics AND Judy at Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday..

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. When I saw the first quarter block, it looked like an adorable ear of corn. all together though, the four blocks make a great sunburst/star design. What a fun way to use up the little bits. A LOT of little bits.
