Pink & Purple Drunkard Path

One month last year, our bucket skill challenge was curved piecing.  I set about making drunkard path blocks for the first time.   Hmmmm,  not so difficult really........just slower going.  I chose a print for the DP blocks, then pulled yardage to compliment the print.

Actually, I set up this design in EQ first, just to see where I was going!  EQ helped me with the special sized templates for the DP block units and the borders too..... and it helped me plan the special pieced backing!  This quilt is made from 6" blocks and finishes at  64 x 72.

and here is the back ..................................................

I'm joining these linky parties where you'll discover more quilters and their wonderful projects.
