Big Squares Baby Block

A fast and effective way to make a baby quilt is to supersize the blocks.  I named this modern baby quilt Big Squares Baby Block.  It is quick to cut and sew and so fun to quilt up.  This one measures 40 x 40 and can be made from a scrappy assortment of squares.

I have prepared some easy instructions to share with you

and here is my Big Squares Baby Block quilt. I am donating it to our club for the local hospital children's ward.

I'm linking up with Susan of Quilt Fabrication  and  Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts.  Visit these links to see what other quilters are creating today.

Linking up Friday with Michele's Romantic Tangle.
