Indian Trails - RSC16 con't

I have been sharing parts of this quilt during the RSC16 . I called it a modified indian hatchet.  It now has an official name, Indian Trails.  During a quilting time, I spread it out to count how many black and white squares it had, as I am FMQ in that area which is alot of stop and start. You know when you get something in your head, it sometimes just wont go away.

So DD (dear dog) Kody wasted no time claiming his spot.  Normally I don't let him on my fabric or quilts.

This is the top, before border fabric.  I have some piecing to do this week then I am anxious to get back to quilting on this one.  It is so colorful, it makes me smile.

Today I'm linking up with Connie  at  Freemotion By The River.              and

Wednesday, linking up with  Susan at Quilt Fabrication  and  Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts.

Be sure to visit these sites to see what other quilters are sharing today.

THanks so much for stopping by.

  2. What a beautiful quilt! And a beautiful puppy too! I have a Sheltie as well and he is pretty picky about the quilts he wants to lay on. He has his favorites for sure.

  4. I absolutely LOVE this quilt!! I would like nothing more than to add it to my RSC17 block line-up. Alas, I have added one block and probably shouldn't add another. One day...

  9. Gorgeous quilt. I'm still trying to decide what block I am going to do for my RSC. So far I've put the button on my blog over the past few years, made a few blocks but never finished anything. 2017 is going to be the year to follow through on blocks all the way to a finish... OK maybe the finish will come in 2018 but I am going to try!
