RSC17 - January purples

My purple fabric collection is quite sparse,  In addition to the Over 60's block which I shared earlier in the month, I did make up a few scrappy blocks for my ongoing projects;  one is the churn dash and the other is a new addition inspired by the quilt pattern "Hidden Gems".

Friday afternoon I stitched up the purple crayon.  Only 4 RSC projects going this year,....so far.

Meanwhile,  I'm linking up with Angela of Soscrappy and on Sunday I'll join Cynthia for Oh Scrap . Be sure to visit these sites  to see what other creative quilters are making with their purple pieces.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. 4 projects sounds like plenty to me. That crayon block is super cute. What a fun quilt it will make.

  15. I love those crayons. I've seen several people making those as well as Chantal's Hidden Gems. Churn Dashes with all their variations are always a fav of mine. RSC blocks certainly inspire!
