I'm so excited to share a proper photo of this storm at sea quilt taken with the new camera. Obviously, my very old camera can't handle detail. It is so big, even the tall guys couldn't hold it high enough to clear the floor.
and here is the photo taken from the old camera, just for comparison .....
Thanks for looking. Have a great day!
Kat, that is so lovely--I'm especially fond of the stars in each corner, flowing so nicely out of the SAS pattern. Well done! And your name?? PERFECT. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's just lovely -- and the photo stays in perfect focus up to 300% enlarged! I'm so happy for you, getting a new camera.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful quilt. Thank you for showing us what can be done with a very traditional pattern.
ReplyDeletethat is simply beautiful--love those hearts they really make the quilt shine...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteHI there, your quilt looks fabulous. I traced the thread back to Dec when you cut it out. I wondered if you had a pattern? I've always wanted to make one and now I'd like to make one for my son and his fiancee for their wedding at the end of the year. Your colour combination is perfect.
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH Your quilt is just gorgeous. I should try finishing something...giggle.
