stitch around outermost edge, with a tiny stitch length
  Bonus: using pinking sheers will clip the curves for you Cut a slit in back interfacing; turn shape right-side out; press with an iron |
Your applique is ready to stitch down to a background piece.

ReplyDeleteI need to try this. I heard once that using dryer sheets to do this will help you not having to do needle turn. My last project might have worked a lot better if I had turned it into a FPP project and then just done this method. Thanks!
