and a full length pic of the pieced backing too, I see the sunshine from the windows is causing the front to shadow thru. I'm updating the CCQ page with this quilt. I call it the Veterans Diagonal Strippy.
I'm also updating the Keys to Contentment page to include blocks 5 and 6. Here are those blocks.... not pressed or trimmed yet; will do that when it's time to assemble the project.

I'm limking up with Judy at Patchwork Times and Quilt Story where you will discover lots of creative projects being shared.
I wish you all a great week. Thanks so much for stopping by.
I love your Veterans quilt and it is just beautiful with the front showing through to the back. What a treasure this one will be for a deserving person.
ReplyDeleteI love the Veterans Quilt! I come from a long line of Veterans and proud of it!!! I'm new to your blog -- came via my quilting buddy -- Rhonda over at Ravelly1. I'm trying to make a 'come back' into quilting after taking a nearly 4 year break! I feel like I'm learning all over again. Thank you for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI like your handwork, especially the one that says to be thankful in all circumstances. I need to put that quote up on my wall so I can ponder it more.
