Baby Quilts

The initial plan was for 2 baby quilts...then I cut the strips wider than planned which made the two quilts too oblong.  So they are now 3.  I had fun playing with different quilting designs.  One has free form wavy lines, one has a circular starting in the center and one has vertical grids going in 4 directions.

This little one is for my 'soon to arrive' great nephew Liam.  It's backed with a blue fleece and has the circular quilting.

The other 2 little quilts are donations.  They are backed with white fleece.  Here is a photo of the back of one --just to show off my fun quilting.

Have a wonderful weekend.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Thanks for posting here and on Stashbusters. Hope you don't mind, I made a copy of these quilts because I have so many strips and this seems like a great way to use them. Thanks for the
    inspiration. Diane/Nevada

  2. The quilting looks great!. Do you do anything different when quilting with fleece as a backing?
