Mary's Strippie 18-1

This project was cut into a kit last December.  Actually, I cut 4 kits.  It's hard to stop when you're on a cutting roll.   This year I have been practicing FMQ and these kits are serving as a great canvas for my practice.  The strips are prints and my   'not perfect'   FMQ is not screaming visible.

Making these child size, about 50 x 60.   I cut extra strips and put them on the 2 sides to make the pattern wider.  You can find Mary's free pattern  here :



and  here is my finish.............  I used a border stripe.  I was very careful trimming the ends so the stripe would line up throughout the quilt.  


Here is the back, a gray and yellow printed fleece.  I used cotton batting.

  1. Oh Kat, I love this Quick Strippie. I made one of these a long time ago when I needed a quilt in a hurry. Love Mary's designs. Hope you are staying warm.
