4-Patch Strippy - Finished

I've put  my time in on this one.  This time I let the pretty fabric do the work for me instead of using it for a border.  The flower applique is made from chenille.  This was my first experiment with making chenille.  It is a fun and unthinking process, lots of time to be thinking about your next project. The chenille is made with flannel.  Next time I will try some interesting combination of cottons.

This is a wonderful child size - 40 x 54.  I hope a little girl will  love the purples.  The back is a colourful piece of fleece in the design of a puzzle.

I'm linking up with Kelly at My Quilt Infatuation where you will find lots of other wonderful projects being shared.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  3. Ooh, it's just darling! I made chenille once, a long time ago. It came out beautiful. I never did do anything with it. It's probably somewhere in storage!

  4. Love it! I may have to borrow that idea for prints that I don't want to cut up. The four-patch blocks are just the right colors to show off the purple, and the daisy is a great addition. Some girl will love it.
